Warranty and Returns Policy


The law states that you as a consumer are entitled to a decent product. This means that the product offers what you can expect, you must be able to use the product normally for a certain period of time. Since Re-Own specializes in the purchase and sale of second-hand products, there is no manufacturer's warranty, but there is a legal warranty. All second-hand / used / used cameras and lenses and other items purchased from Re-Own are supplied with a 1-month warranty, unless otherwise agreed. Excluded from the warranty are accessories including, but not limited to; flashes, bags, batteries, chargers, slings, battery grips and memory cards. In addition to the above, warranty limitations or extensions are always stated on the invoice after agreement between Re-Own and the buyer.


Every manufacturer tries to deliver the best possible product. Despite this care, it may happen that a product becomes defective. If a product becomes defective within the warranty period and not due to improper use such as fall, impact, moisture, sand, dust or breakage damage, the product will be repaired, replaced or credited free of charge. This does not apply to damage or defects that were known at the time of purchase.

Without an invoice, a warranty request will not be processed. The right to warranty expires if the product has been repaired or adjusted without prior written permission.
If the product is incomplete or damaged, Re-Own reserves the right to apply reasonable depreciation. Re-Own also reserves the right, if there are doubts about the nature of the defect, to first submit it to a repairer for inspection.
Excluded from the warranty are accessories including, but not limited to; flashes, bags, batteries, chargers, slings, battery grips and memory cards.
Return costs will not be reimbursed.


If the product is defective through no fault of yours and/or someone else's, you can claim the warranty within the warranty period.

Re-Own asks for your understanding that a suitable solution may take time. Naturally, every effort will be made to provide you with a suitable solution as soon as possible. Re-Own chooses between repair, replacement or reimbursement of the product.
If there is a credit, we aim to pay you the amount within 5 working days.
The shipping costs for returning and/or offering a warranty are at your own expense. The shipping costs from the repairer to you will be reimbursed.


You have the right to cancel your order received by post up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. This does not apply to orders that you have collected.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited with the full order amount including shipping costs. The costs for returning from your home to Re-Own are for your own account.
The above does not apply to products that have been collected, as they have no right of return.

We ask you to return the product to Re-Own with all accessories supplied and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and packaging.

Your full order amount including shipping costs will be credited to your account within 5 working days after receiving the return.

The costs for returning are in all cases borne by the buyer.
The buyer is responsible for the method of packaging, the method of (insured) shipping and timely shipping.
The returns policy only applies to online purchases via the Re-Own webshop and not to purchases where you have chosen to collect the product.
